Extreme Japanese Pranks
Forget Punk'd, the Japanese have practical jokes down to a science.

A visual exploration on mapping complex networks. I tend to like the old school looking ones, train mappy ones, and spirograph-y ones (though, I'm starting to like the watery and pictograph ones too).
The Monkey Chow Diaries: "Can a human subsist on a constant diet of pelletized, nutritionally complete food like puppies and monkeys do? For the good of human kind, I'm about to find out. On June 3, 2006, I began my week of eating nothing but monkey chow: 'a complete and balanced diet for the nutrition of primates, including the great apes.'"
The best part of this video is that the person who shot the video and posted it is the girl's sibling (I'm going to guess older brother)

Yamaha's Crotch Air Bag: "Their advanced safety scooter, designated the ASV-3, has a multi-chambered air bag rigged between your legs, under the seat, to open in the case of a crash, thus protecting your most prized possessions."
"Like most Nigerians, you're probably finding that it's increasingly difficult to earn a decent living from email. That's why you need to attend the 3rd Annual Nigerian EMail Conference."
"Now I know how to respond when someone refers to my business as a scam." - Franklin Dimmoh
"I AM FIRMLY CONVINCED THAT USING UPPERCASE LETTERS MAKES MY WRITING MORE EFFECTIVE."
- Mr. Ibrahim Ahmed

Three-armed baby alert!
"A doctor inspects a 59-day-old baby boy who was born with three arms, at a hospital in Shanghai, in east China Monday, May 29, 2006. Doctors are checking the boys physical condition before deciding whether to remove his third arm."
Extreme Diet Coke & Mentos Experiments: "What happens when you combine 200 liters of Diet Coke and over 500 Mentos mints? It's amazing and completely insane."
Even if you have never watched Big Brother, I think you can appreciate host Julie Chen's startling robot-ness in the video above. It took her college friend making her watch it to realize what we knew all along.
